About the team 

In today’s highly competitive financial markets, firms must be able to compute and report counterparty credit risk and market risk at lighting fast, intra-day, end of day and at regular time periods – all within stipulated timelines that should meet SLAs. Software vendors like FIS offers customized solutions that caters to the needs of specific customers.  The team of highly motivated and self-driven FIS engineers help maintain SLAs of customers across globe by resolving issues around the risk system, client specific customizations and integration layers between various components.

What you will be doing 

This position is into a development team to:

• Analyze and resolve issues on an industry leading credit and market risk system.
• Fix any bugs around integration layers between various components of the solution.
• Develop solutions using C#.net.
• Interact with clients, client services, development and product managers and provide fast resolution of critical problems.

 What you bring: 

Knowledge / Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in software development
• Hands on C# experience, with design patterns and complex architectures.
• Strong OOPS concepts, fond of mathematical problems.
• At least 2 years of experience of development on .Net Core
• Experience in development of multithreaded application.
• Experience in development of client server architecture with TCP/IP and multicast messaging.
• Experience in Inter process communication (sockets, message queues, shared memory, semaphores), real time application development a plus.
• Experience on debugging and profiling tools
• Ability to map regulatory and client requirement with product and design solution.
• Ability to provide technical support to team
• Ability to handle production issue and provide quick solution
• Highly professional, client focus and passion for learning new developments
• Good understanding of Agile development practices.

Additional requirements (good to have):

• Exposure to exchange gateways, FIX messaging, Equities markets & trading systems
• Exposure to Automated testing, Continuous Integration – processes, tools etc.
• Knowhow of Git, Google Test Framework for unit testing

Qualifications:

• Graduate or post graduate in computer engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech)
• Master’s degree in computer applications(MCA)
• Graduate in any discipline with solid experience in computer engineering.

• Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
• Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation
• Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
• Self-starter but team mindset – work autonomously and as part of a global team
• Must be able to perform under pressure.
• Must learn and maintain knowledge of software components as necessary to support application builds and deployments and maintaining production environments.
