About the team:

Our Accounting team are responsible for preparing, analysing and reporting the financial results of the business in a well-controlled, accurate and timely manner. We are looking for a part-qualified or recently qualified Accountant to join the team and help drive our operational and strategic goals.

About the Role:

Working closely with the wider Accounting team and Operational managers you will prepare Management Accounts and deliver of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting. Working with large volumes of data you will provide analysis for multiple business entities with a focus on general ledger and settlements. You will also take ownership of the internal and external audit processes and reporting.

What you will be doing:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Prepare cash and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Use financial data to prepare and record general ledger journal entries.
• Analyse financial statements and provide concise explanations for variances
• Internal and external audit reporting and supporting the year end audit activities
• Ad-hoc reporting & analysis as requested

What you will bring:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or Qualified by experience and working towards qualification
• Management accounts and reconciliations experience
• Knowledge of auditing processes and procedures as well as accounting principles
• Experience producing key management information
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Added Bonus if you have:
