5 – 10%We are currently searching for a Software Configuration Engineer to support our FIS Banking Team in Warsaw.

Your role:
As Software Configuration Engineer you will be able to work in a modern and international environment and be part of a team in charge of for the software deployment of 14 international banks.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
Responsible for the customer specific software stack with regards to our banking application
Software control and deployment using ClearCase on Solaris
Deployment of releases, service packs and customer specific fixes and change requests
Cooperation with internal and external software development teams
Assure the compliance with regulatory and audit requirements and programming guidelines
Support and take part in new business projects
Support and participation in new business projects
On-call duties

What you bring:
Qualification in Information Technology or other relevant background
Preferably knowledge in software distribution and deployment
Being familiar with the use UNIX/LINUX on shell-level and software configuration system Rational ClearCase
Experience in software maintenance or customer support
Strong customer and team orientation
Good communication skills, result orientation and quality-oriented work
Skills in UNIX shell scripting and bath scripting
Team player and quality-oriented work ethic
ITIL experience
Fluent in German and good English skills
